We love this album! When musicians say that they’re looking for a new sound, this must be what they’re talking about
…a beautiful balance that at once brings out the romantic and sensual feel of Bachata while also highlights Santur fitting perfectly into its simple yet wholesome orchestration
..original tracks that have a dreamy-romantic and upbeat feel. The listeners would be pleasantly surprised to hear some non-traditional tones brilliantly layered in the orchestration.
Thank You for visiting this page, to listen to “Bachata Indu”, my most recent work, partnering with the Grammy winning producer Christian Tumalan. Thematically, this album explores the different shades of Love. My attempt was to create a sound that’s very much rooted in the traditional Bachata style, while supplementing it with an element from Indian music – Santoor. It took Christian and I quite a while to get the right balance that we were satisfied with. We hope that you enjoy them
Latin-Indian fusion music is what I specialize in and I truly believe that such fusion can bridge the gap between cultures. In these times when there are forces creating chasms in the society, let us celebrate our wonderful differences through music!
