First Hindi Salsa Album to Enter Pop/World Music Market

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – October 21, 2007 – GIJU, the new emerging pop star of Indian/World Music announced today that he will make U.S. debut of his first “indian-salsa” song at the 6th Annual International San Francisco Salsa Congress — November 4, 2007/ 9:00pm PST — the Oakland Marriott Convention Center.

GIJU has earned thousands of fans world-wide after the release of his music video last year. GIJU will debut his song for the first time in the U.S., and to an audience of nearly 10,000. His album is considered a true cross-over album with a unique mix of popular world music styles, namely “Salsa”, “Cha-Cha”, “Raggae”, “Techno” et al.
