Giju's Blazing Salsa Social
Beyond Dreamz Fires It Up!!
The first Beyond Dreamz Salsa Social was an amazing event and huge success! A special thanks to Patty and Jimyl, new owners of a much improved Alberto's Nightclub in Mountain View, where the event was held. The club was PACKED with old and new Salsa friends from near and far... burning up the dance floor and creating a truly celebratory mood.
The evening started with a lively Salsa lesson by Giju, who kicked-off a night of blazing hot performances featuring World Congress competition routines by PB&G, Salsamania and Isidro & Sheila.
We had DJ Fab and Chino - two of the Bay Area's hottest DJ's dropping Salsa hits all night which provided ample social dancing, while helping to keep the overall flow.
Community businesses came out to show their support for Giju's Salsa social debut, as well. Thank you to Andale's Mexican Restaurant, Starbuck's of Mountain View, Rasputin's Music, Peninsula Beauty Supply and Salsa Fresh, who enhanced our showcase of world-class talent with their gracious support and generous raffle donations.
Another high-point of the evening began with Giju's music video "Rang Rangeeli" - a first-time viewing for many in attendance. The reel led the crowd into another first... the performance and introduction of Giju dancing with the Beyond Dreamz Dance Production Team - who fired up the dance floor and stage to his debut album Salsa single hit, "Rang Rangeeli". Professional Salsa partner, Kristen Nolan surprisingly sauntered from the crowded room onto the dance floor to join Giju - leading the team in a steamy Cha-Cha number to his song “Dhundoon Tujhe” (another hit from his debut album).
A special thanks to EVERYONE who attended and who helped to make the event not just memorable, but mark the beginning of a very exciting new year in Salsa!

New Music Video Project in 2008!!
Check-Out Behind The Scenes Montage:
"Rang Rangeeli" Music Video
After the successful release of his first Music video, shot to the title song of his album – Rang Rangeeli Yeh Duniya – Giju is already in discussions once more with Bay Area film Director, Celso Bulgatti - with plans to start working on his next video to his song track “Dhundoon Tujhe”.
After taking his audiences through the unique milieu of Salsa and Indian Pop in his first video; he is now ready to introduce them to the high energy music style of Cha-Cha-Cha!!!
This project will be a cross-over music video featuring Latin dancers from India and the U.S. As we begin the pre-production phase, this video project already looks very promising. The highly energetic music, electrifying choreography, dance talent and beautiful locales all combine to take Giju's vision to a whole new level.
All of his fans and supporters are eagerly waiting for this next offer from Giju. =D

Giju's Travelogue
The past two years, all my visits to Kerala – my home-state, were really hectic due to the activities related to the album production and release. This trip I had one solid week to spend time with my family and good friends... prior to starting my tour.
Got to see the brand-new addition to my family! My second nephew, Ryan. He is so adorable! He was baptized the day after I reached Kerala.
I was also very delighted to bring Kristen to India for the first time. She hit it off right away with my family. My parents don't speak English that well. It was cute to see them trying their best in their broken English to interact with Kristen. We also got to hang out with my close friends, and also visit the nearby beach, Kovalam. It is a very popular beach among tourists coming from all over the world.
As per the India-based marketing team, my hoardings should've been up by the time I reached Kerala. On my way from the airport to home, I was looking for them. I was bit disappointed that they weren't up by then. But in a couple of days, the hoardings were in place at some of the prime locations in the city. I didn't tell Kristen that she was going to be on the hoarding as well. So it came in as a pleasant surprise to her when we showed it to her.
I was interviewed by one of the regional T.V. channels – Jai Hind – for a morning show. After the interview, I also did a Salsa demo with Kristen. This marked Kristen's first official appearance in Indian media.
After a week in Kerala, we left for Bombay to start our official tour. So far we have confirmed workshops and shows in Bombay, Delhi, Calcutta, Bangalore and Chennai. I also want to spend some good amount of time in Bombay meeting up with key contacts from Indian music and movie industry.
We were offered a reality dance show, as a couple, in one of India's leading entertainment channels.
About that and more details about our workshops, shows and our trip to Taj Mahal and Jaipur, in the next edition."
Until then,
Peace
Giju
